Hello LARP Family, Management just got off the phone with Robert Branson to discuss the current status of Mississippi. As of yesterday, Stone County was placed under the mandate that restricts gathering sizes to 50 in an outdoor setting and 10 in an indoor. There is a lot more that goes into the mandate, but that is the part that logistically affects our game the most. Due to this restriction, Rob has decided to cancel the crossover one-shot event this year and management supports his decision.
We are, however, going to do our best to not let that be the final news to this announcement. Currently, Lee and I are hashing out plans for scheduling some online mods that can be signed up for. It will still be the same premise of the Time-traveler's Academy, but you will be able to play your actual character instead of having to create a template character. We plan to use the Roll20 platform and/or Discord to provide these mods. Please stay tuned as we flesh this idea out and we will let you know when the fun can begin. No matter the time of year, we should always look for what we are thankful for in life. With tomorrow being Thanksgiving and this year already having been such wild and rough one, I just really want to express how thankful I am for each and every one of you. It's never easy when a month has to go by without seeing all of you. When that space of time has to be extended further it makes this so much harder. So, know that all of management and staff thank you from the bottoms of our heart for being a part of this family and we hope that you all find that extra bit joy and thankfulness in your life at this time. Thank you, Kyle
