Oh boy, where to begin?
This has been a crazy year. Even with the pandemic, hurricanes, and general chaos life throws at us we managed to end the year strong. Thank you to the plot team for rolling with some very stressful punches this year. All of you really stepped up the challenge not only at site but in the months we had to cancel. Staff, we couldn't have done this without you either. Thank you Bailey and Liam for helping step up for the remainder of the year. The year is not over and we have so much left to do. But first, a big announcement in this long post.
I'd like to say congratulations to our Head of Plot for 2021, Ryan Campbell. I wish the best of luck to you and your team next year. He's got a great story to tell. Now is the time study up on the BarCamp rulebook.
We have a work day next weekend. Kyle will post more details later this week as well as post an event to help remind people. Standard workday build is up to 5 build with a max of 30 build per year from workdays and cons. Gob is paid for additional hours worked as well gob payment for mileage.
Next up we have our Black Friday Sale starting the day after Thanksgiving. It will go from November 27 through December 4. More details to come.
As many of you know Joe Martin stepped down from management this year. Kyle and I have managed to keep our heads barely above water trying to tackle all the issues and tasks that come with management. We will start accepting applications for Assistant General Manager. This will be a two year commitment (December 2020 to December 2022). Please send in applications to cerroneth@gmail.com.
Once a third manager has been decided we will put out an all call for staff applications. All staff positions are one year commitment (January 2021 to December 2021) with the exception of Logistics. Logistics tends to carry over to the new year in time for helping with monastery respends. More details to come later.
And finally is our December One-Shot event. This is a cross-over event between Cerroneth and Aftermath. A much longer post will come with all the fun details of that. Kyle and I will be running the story for the event. We will have template style character sheets similar to the 2018 One-Shot. Feel free to branch out to a different style of character or play your character in a different way.
Thank you everyone for continuing to show support for our community. Without you, the players, staff, plot, none of this would be possible. Be safe, and have a wonderful holiday season.
