It has come to our attention that there are several items flooding the game that have extremely powerful abilities. This affects the power scale of the game causing a huge gap of between what challenges all characters and only high level characters. We will be removing many of high sorcery mimicing abilities from items with compensation. We are specifically looking at items that have spell strikes that go above spells listed in the rulebook, addendum, or other official writeup.
Spell Strikes are meant to be any spells listed in the rulebook, not formal or other powerful abilities. If you have a card with any of these, please bring them to Lee before opening ceremony for review and discussion. Plot has been instructed that anyone using any spell strike that goes above a 9th level spell to not to take the effect and to inform the player to see me.
